Licensing Reform Task Force Members
Subcommittees
The Licensing Reform Task Force has established subcommittees to address specific sectors, including:
Barriers: Topics may include obstacles to licensure, criminal history, duplicative training, fees, and administrative delays.
Construction: Topics may include trades & related professions, timelines, costs, safety, and workforce availability.
Healthcare: Topics may include healthcare & behavioral health, workforce shortages, telehealth, scope of practice, and rural health.
Sunset: Topics may include the Legislature’s authority to review licensing boards, processes, updates or modernization.
*Other: There is a potential for a miscellaneous, or ‘other’ subcommittee to address topics concerning occupations not otherwise covered.
Subcommittees meet virtually between the full task force meetings, and report back to the full task force for consensus on recommendations.
